Job summary

This role goes beyond incremental design, enabling new interaction paradigms for collaboration, delegation, memory, and trust with capable AI agents.

As an early designer, you will work across strategy, interaction, prototyping, research, and visuals with engineers, researchers, and community contributors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing software products, consumer applications, or developer tools.
• Exceptional interaction design, visual design, and systems thinking skills.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of shipped products.
• Ability to simplify highly technical concepts into intuitive user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product design from concept through implementation across OpenClaw products.
• Design intuitive experiences for AI agents, workflows, developer tools, and user-facing apps.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and researchers to translate AI capabilities into usable products.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, interaction flows, visual systems, and production-ready designs.
• Conduct user research and synthesize insights into product decisions.
• Explore new interaction paradigms for human-agent collaboration, memory, trust, and personalization.
• Help establish design systems, UX principles, and visual standards across the ecosystem.
• Contribute to standards discussions around agent identity, permissions, interoperability, and user control.
