Job summary

Avaz Inc. is seeking a product designer to own end-to-end design for Avaz AAC and future apps. You will take products from research through interaction and visual design, prototyping, handoff, and post-launch iteration.

You’ll collaborate with product managers, developers and QA to translate complex communication needs into accessible, dependable experiences across Android, iOS and web. Bring strong UX fundamentals and a passion for inclusive design.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in product design/UI/UX.
• Experience designing mobile apps for Android and iOS.
• Proficient in Figma with components, variants, prototyping and handoff.
• Strong user-centered design and information architecture.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for Avaz AAC and other Avaz suite apps from concepts to shipped product state.
• Learn directly from users through research and usability tests to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with product managers to translate requirements into flows, prototypes and interfaces.
• Design mobile experiences for Android and iOS, respecting platform conventions.
• Build and grow a shared design system across Avaz products for consistency as we scale.
• Work with developers and QA to ensure what ships matches the design.
