Job summary

Cohere is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape the future of our modelling products. You will own the design process end-to-end for your product area, turning user needs into intuitive interfaces and driving product impact in collaboration with PMs, engineers, and stakeholders.

You bring 4+ years of product design experience, a strong grasp of AI concepts and agentic systems, and a collaborative, research-driven approach.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in designing digital products with strong portfolio and measurable impact
• Strong understanding of AI concepts and agentic systems, including models that reason and orchestrate workflows
• Collaborative approach with product managers, engineers and stakeholders to align on solutions

You have 4+ years experience designing digital products with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your process, systems thinking, and measurable impact on user outcomes. You have a strong understanding of AI concepts and agentic systems, including how models reason, use tools, and orchestrate multi-step workflows. You stay current on AI trends and can design interactions that make complex agentic behaviours understandable and controllable for users. You have a collaborative approach to product development, working closely with Product Managers to identify opportunities, with Engineers to navigate technical constraints and review implementations, and with stakeholders across the organization to align on solutions. You have a deep commitment to understanding user needs through research, data, and direct engagement. You drive research initiatives, translate findings into design decisions, and stay informed on industry trends that shape the product landscape. You have a meticulous attention to craft and detail. You're proficient in Figma, build scalable patterns and systems, and consistently elevate the quality of everything you touch. Clear, proactive communication that keeps distributed teams aligned. You document decisions, articulate design rationale to diverse audiences, and create shared understanding across geographies and disciplines. A weekly lunch stipend of $75/£75 or equivalent in your local currency for lunch. Full health and dental benefits, including a separate budget for mental health. Compensation Range: $125K - $280K
