OPENLANE is seeking a Product Designer to lead end-to-end design from discovery to pixel-perfect delivery. You’ll collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand user needs and business goals, while driving the design process with research and prototyping across multiple surfaces.

You will own feature areas, conduct interviews, usability testing, and produce wireframes, flows, and high-fidelity mockups. The role supports a remote work model with flexible location.

Formación

• 2–5 years of experience as a Product Designer or similar role.
• A strong portfolio showcasing product design process and solving user problems across devices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

We’re Looking For:

We are seeking a Product Designer with experience in end-to-end product design, user-centered research, and cross-functional collaboration. As a Product Designer, you’ll be a key player on our product team, tackling complex problems and crafting elegant, user-friendly solutions. This role is about more than just making things look good. You’ll drive the end-to-end design process, from initial research and discovery to final pixel-perfect execution. You’ll partner closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand user needs and business goals. While we have physical locations, we work remote, giving you the flexibility to do your best work from wherever you are.

You Will:

Who You Will Work With:

Reporting to the Director of Product Design, this role will collaborate regularly with Product Managers, Engineers, and Business Stakeholders to ensure user needs and business goals are met. Partner with cross‑functional teams on a daily basis. Participate in design sharing and knowledge‑exchange activities to contribute to team growth.

Must Haves:

• 2–5 years of experience as a Product Designer or similar role.


• A strong portfolio showcasing your product design process and demonstrating your ability to solve user problems on a variety of device types and surfaces.


• Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools.


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


• A strong bias for action, self‑direction, and a knack for thriving in a fast‑paced environment.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience designing for B2B or complex enterprise applications.


• Prior experience utilizing or contributing to design systems.


• Familiarity with wholesale or automotive marketplaces.

Compensation Range of

Annual Salary: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 CAD

(Depending on experience, skill set, qualifications, and other relevant factors.)
