OPW in Oxnard, CA is seeking a Product Designer to support engineering documentation, digital modeling, prototyping, and simulation work on site. The role requires broad knowledge gained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education.

You will work under limited supervision, train lower-level staff, and translate engineering requirements into CAD/CAM/CAE blueprints, drawings, and simulations.

• Customize CAD/CAM/CAE tools to model complex or unusual designs.
• Create digital prototypes and run design simulations to verify reliability/safety and to optimize engineering processes.
• Collaborate with product and manufacturing process engineers and recommend component design changes based on digital prototyping and simulation outcomes.
• May provide materials lists and cost estimates.

Compensation & Bonus

• Salary range: USD 76,600 - 94,700 per yearly.
• Pay range note: USD 76,600.00 - 94,700.00 hourly.
• Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria in the applicable bonus plan.
