Job Title: Senior Product Designer (Contract)
Location: Remote (with potential for FTE in Atlanta, GA, Milwaukee, WI, Jacksonville, FL, or New York City, NY)
Duration: 12 months (extension or FTE conversion possible) About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer with a strong foundation in user-centered design and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, thoughtfully crafted product experiences—especially within complex systems. This role will play a critical part in shaping our digital product offerings by collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams in a fast-paced, milestone-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design initiatives across products and platforms, from discovery through execution.

• Deliver highly polished design solutions that demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and craft—especially in complex or nuanced user flows.

• Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams to define problems, develop concepts, and ship elegant and effective solutions on tight timelines.

• Make strategic design decisions backed by data, research, and a clear understanding of user and business needs.

• Conduct evaluative user research and usability testing as needed, and synthesize findings to drive iterative improvement.

• Advocate for design excellence and help contribute to evolving the design process and standards.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in product design, with a portfolio showcasing sophisticated and polished design work across complex products.

• Strong visual and interaction design skills with an eye for detail and a passion for craft.

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality designs under tight, milestone-driven timelines in collaboration with product and engineering stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to make strategic design decisions and articulate the rationale behind them.

• Hands-on experience conducting evaluative user research and integrating insights into the design process.

Contract Details

• Duration: 12 months, with potential for extension or conversion to a full-time role.

• Location: Remote. FTE conversion preferred for candidates located in Atlanta (ATL), Milwaukee (MKE), Jacksonville (JAX), or possibly New York City (NYC).
