Product Design Manager - Business Growth & Platform team

The Business Growth & Platform team in Meta’s Monetization organization is looking for a Product Design Manager with experience in product design leadership, communication, and people management skills. In this role, you will lead a group of designers that build the experiences to enable every business to securely and effectively take advantage of our Business Tools. Initiatives driven by this role are directly tied to top Monetization-level priorities on Meta Account Access and Business Structures (Advertiser Friction) and are meant to serve, among others, the needs of customers such as Amazon, GroupM, PublicisGroupe. You'll work together with your counterparts in Engineering, Data Science, UX Research, Content Design, and other disciplines to define the strategy, operations, and communications that guide the team to build products that scale for a wide range of advertisers sizes. In this role, you’ll be expected to utilize your full range of people management skills, product strategy, product design, interaction design and visual design skills.

Responsibilities

1. Build and manage a team of product designers and leaders that consistently delivers on projects and is well-balanced across a range of design skill sets.
2. Responsible for overall team performance and health, resource allocation, project prioritization, and building an environment of design quality.
3. Lead and oversee the user experience of our products in partnership with product managers, engineers, UX researchers and content designers.
4. Be a key contributor to the organization's strategic direction.
5. Drive cross-organization collaboration and alignment with partner teams, enabling joint success for multiple teams.
6. Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into useful and valuable products for our users.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 6+ years of experience in Product Design.
2. Experience building and shipping applications or software across a variety of platforms.
3. Experience leading product direction and strategic thinking with the experience developing product goals, identify opportunities, and make decisions based on the impact to people and the company.
4. 3+ years of design leadership experience with direct reports under your guidance and leadership.
5. Experience representing work to a broader product team and other leaders, clearly and succinctly articulating goals and strategy.
6. 6+ years of experience working collaboratively with product, engineering, design, content and user research teams.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience working on large scale, complex, ambiguous projects across multiple teams.
2. Experience with delivering 0-1 products from concept stages to launch.

Compensation: US$165,000/year to US$231,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
