We’re taking a radically different approach by leveraging alternative data to offer consumers access to low‑interest credit and the ability to grow their credit limits over time as they learn, save, budget, and set goals. Backed by behavioral finance, our integrated financial literacy system motivates consumers to use credit responsibly and develops a proprietary underwriting platform that can expand access to other financial products all at fair rates.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Creating wireframes and interactive prototypes based on team feedback, user needs, business goals, and observations from both qualitative and quantitative data
• Enhancing user experience through gamification elements including animations, infographics and more
• Leading ongoing user research and usability testing
• Evangelizing design thinking practices to navigate complex design systems and challenge existing constraints
• Improving and maintaining the Design System to drive consistency across the app, speeding up development, and building both love and trust with our users
• Collaborating with product and engineering to transform ideas into product requirements that offer functional clarity and technical direction
• Managing design support as needed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing mobile and web apps
• Expert knowledge with Figma or other design platforms
• Experience in early‑stage startups is preferred
• Ability to simplify complex flows into simple concepts
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to be productive in unstructured or ambiguous situations
• Demonstrated self‑starter mentality with a desire to get things done
• Familiarity with Agile development
