DICK’S Sporting Goods is offering a Technology Internship in Pittsburgh for summer. You’ll work with product designers, product managers, and software engineers on user-centered design projects in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.

Interns participate in strategic projects, weekly leadership Q&A, and exposure to executives. Start May 17, 2027 and end July 29, 2027, with potential for full-time opportunities in 2028.

Qualifications

• Passionate about user-centered research and design and promoting empathy and understanding when creating product experiences
• Strong curiosity about new tools, technology, and Product/UX methods for growth
• Clear written and verbal communication across teams
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Attending an accredited university, college or technical school
• A major in Design, Technology, or a related field
• Anticipated graduation between Dec 2027 and May 2028
• A digital portfolio demonstrating user-centered research and design practices
• There will be a week at the Corporate Office in Pittsburgh as part of the program; remote work is available for most roles

Responsibilities

• Work with Product designers to develop skills and make strategic design decisions
• Balance creative ideation with business challenges to build intuitive products
• Conduct research discovery using methods like interviews, journeys, surveys, and usability testing
• Articulate research findings to technology and business partners
