Job summary

The Palantir Design Team is seeking a Product Design intern in New York to join a fast‑moving, mentorship‑driven environment. You’ll work with Designers, Product Managers, and Developers on real features, from concept to execution, with guidance from experienced teammates.

You’ll contribute to interaction and visual design, user research, and cross‑functional collaboration, using Figma, prototyping, and usability testing to deliver meaningful product experiences.

Qualifications

• Active US Security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
• Planning on graduating in 2028; this should be your final internship before graduating.
• Portfolio demonstrating at least one software interface design project.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support end-to-end execution of real product features with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with Designers, Product Managers, Developers, and Forward Deployed Engineers to refine Palantir products.
• Design interaction and visual components and prototype using Figma.
• Conduct user interviews and usability studies to inform design decisions.
• Communicate designs clearly and partner with engineers to implement them.
