Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical design, developing parts and assemblies in 3D CAD
• Innovative thinking, high personal motivation, deep engineering capability and strong fundamentals
• Able to travel internationally(up to 20%)
• 1.5+ years experience in Product Design
• Confidence in the areas of: Tolerance Analysis, FEA, Thermal Design, Free Body Diagrams
• BS or MS in Mechanical engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in plastic and metal part design
• Experience with design cycle from concept to high volume manufacturing
• 3+ years experience in Product Design
• Direct management or leadership of product development engineering teams
• Unigraphics NX fluency
• Expertise in the areas of: GD&T, Tolerance Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Design of Experiments, FEA, Thermal Design, Free Body Diagrams

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
