Job summary

You will create detailed 3D models and drawings, perform fitment analyses, and work with manufacturing to ensure producibility and cost-effectiveness. This role involves supporting prototypes, testing, and documentation through development cycles.

Qualifications

• Foundation in Mechanical Engineering with practical experience applying engineering principles to automotive or mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in Design Engineering and Product Design, including turning performance requirements into manufacturable components.
• Hands-on expertise with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for 3D modeling, drafting, and design documentation.
• Experience in Product Development, including concept generation, prototyping, testing, iteration, and production launch.
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, fabrication, welding, casting), and tolerance/fit considerations.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple design projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams on-site.
• Experience with performance automotive platforms, turbocharged engines, or aftermarket parts

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automotive components such as intakes, intercoolers, exhaust systems, and turbo-related hardware.
• Create and iterate detailed 3D models and drawings; conduct fitment and functional analyses.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure designs are producible and cost-effective.
• Support prototype build, testing, and validation.
• Contribute to product development cycles from concept through production release; document design specifications.
