SkySource Solutions is seeking an experienced Product Design Engineer III – Fluid Systems in Orlando, FL. The role leads design and development of fluid system solutions for gas turbines and industrial machinery, covering fuel gas, fuel oil, lube oil, air, and related systems.

The ideal candidate has 3–8 years of direct fluid systems design experience and strong skills in new product development, feasibility studies, testing, verification, validation, and implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 3–8 years of direct fluid system design experience.
• Experience with process piping, skids, control valves, or fluid systems in industrial settings.
• Familiarity with ASME B31.1, B31.3, and B31.12 piping codes preferred.
• Experience with new product development and system-level design.

Responsibilities

• Lead new product development for gas turbine and industrial fluid systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies and develop design solutions from requirements.
• Design and develop fuel gas, fuel oil, lube oil, air, and related fluid systems.
• Develop products from concept through testing, validation, and implementation.
• Plan and support prototype testing, analysis, verification, and validation.
• Manage technical requirements, traceability, and compliance.
• Create and maintain P&IDs, specs, layouts, piping docs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support ISO 9001.

Product Design Engineer III – Fluid Systems

Location: Orlando, FL

Salary: $125,000–$135,000 annually

Schedule: Full-Time

Experience: 3–8 years required

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Design Engineer III – Fluid Systems to lead the design and development of innovative fluid system solutions for gas turbines and industrial machinery. This role will support systems including fuel gas, fuel oil, lube oil, air, and related turbine fluid systems.

The ideal candidate has 3–8 years of direct fluid systems design experience and a strong understanding of new product development, including feasibility studies, concept design, testing, verification, validation, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead new product development for gas turbine and industrial fluid systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies and develop design solutions based on customer and stakeholder requirements.
• Design and develop fuel gas, fuel oil, lube oil, air, and related fluid systems.
• Develop new products from concept through design, testing, validation, and implementation.
• Plan and support prototype, testing, analysis, verification, and validation activities.
• Review and interpret engineering analysis performed internally or by third-party resources.
• Manage technical requirements, traceability, and product compliance.
• Develop and maintain P & IDs, specifications, layouts, piping documentation, and other engineering documents.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, leadership, and other cross-functional teams.
• Support ISO 9001 compliance and continuous product improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 3–8 years of direct fluid system design experience required.
• Experience designing process piping, skids, control valves, or fluid systems for industrial machinery, power plants, or gas turbines.
• Experience with new product development, system-level design, requirements management, testing, and product validation.
• Strong technical understanding of engineering analysis and ability to interpret results.
• Experience with technical documentation, including P & IDs and piping specifications.
• Familiarity with ASME B31.1, B31.3, and B31.12 piping codes is preferred.
• Gas turbine or power generation experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with PTC Codebeamer is a plus.
