Job summary

Watermill Express is seeking a Lead Engineer who will manage engineering design and regulatory compliance for kiosk products. This full-time position offers a salary between $125,000 and $145,000, along with a 25% bonus. The Lead Engineer will provide technical leadership, support product design, and ensure compliance with state regulations.

Key responsibilities include managing a small team of engineers, overseeing product development, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of engineering experience.
• At least 3 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience leading or mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design and evaluation activities.
• Manage the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process.
• Ensure product compliance with applicable state regulations.

Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to lead, train, and focus a small engineering team

Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks

Experience managing products through full lifecycle

Strong problem‑solving and technical troubleshooting skills

Education

Bachelor of Science in Engineering
