Job summary

Google is seeking a Product Deployment Engineer for gTech Ads to serve as the regional technical advisor, integrating web and ad tech products for external partners and internal teams across locations including New York and Atlanta.

You will translate customer needs into scalable product specifications, coordinate with Sales, Product, and Engineering, and help deploy solutions that optimize campaign performance while ensuring best practices and data privacy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience implementing web and ad tech products for external partners or customers.
  • Experience in API integrations or server-to-server technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales and Engagement Managers to understand customer marketing objectives and data needs.
  • Lead deep-dive technical assessment sessions to uncover bespoke solutions for clients.
  • Translate complex customer requirements into clear technical specifications and designs.
  • Provide technical-product oversight during implementation, aligning build with strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional gTech teams to ensure seamless delivery and outcomes.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience working with Google Ads, Google Marketing Platforms (e.g., SA360, DV360, GA360), or Google Cloud services.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to develop proof-of-concept or prototype applications.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

You will bridge the gap between media consultancy and engineering, ensuring Google’s gTech Ads engineering capabilities are deployed for high-impact business challenges that activate customer business and drive campaign performance.

  • Partner with Sales and Engagement Managers to understand customer marketing objectives, infrastructure, first-party data management strategy, and pain points.
  • Lead deep-dive technical assessment/consultation sessions to uncover opportunities where bespoke solutions are required, ensuring solutions respect industry-specific data constraints and business cycles.
  • Translate complex customer requirements into clear technical specifications and solution designs, considering scalability, reusability, and best practices as well as a clear path to media activation.
  • Provide technical-product oversight during the implementation phase, ensuring the engineering build remains aligned with the original customer strategy, while delegating base code-level and system-building decisions to the Engineering team.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional gTech teams (e.g., Engineering teams, Solution Experts, Measurement Experts) to orchestrate bundled service delivery and ensure seamless customer outcomes.
