Job Overview

This part-time associate role involves sampling products for suppliers within a Sam's Club location. Product Demonstrators introduce customers to new items and brands through tasting events, sampling, or demonstrations. Experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, or brand advocacy is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and communicate key points about products.
• Ensure compliance with food safety requirements during sample preparation.
• Work with the team to achieve sales goals for the products.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old (18+ for alcohol and production roles).
• Availability on weekends (Friday-Sunday) preferred; holidays and weekdays also available.
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on workdays.
• Ability to safely use appliances like microwave, toaster oven, and hot plate.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the event.
• No high school or college degree required; training provided.

Work Environment

Moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery environment, with some exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
