Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining product knowledge, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies, intercepting consumers and demonstrating products in a professional manner, and maintaining a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company may adjust the role based on business or client needs.
This job description does not imply that the above functions are the only tasks that may be performed. Individuals will be expected to follow any other job-related instructions and perform any other job-related tasks as directed by management.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in using and navigating a personal computer or personal mobile device with applications and internal systems.
Local Food Handlers permit may be required.
Regular requirements include standing and walking, using hands and fingers, reaching with hands and arms up to 65 inches, talking and hearing, visual ability to read instructions, stooping, kneeling, squatting, climbing or stepping up a ladder, balancing, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds (including occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds), pushing and pulling a wheeled demonstration cart fully loaded with appliances, supplies and product, preparing foods and beverages using required appliances, such as cooking utensils, knives, convection oven, coffee maker, electric fryer, microwaves; and being in contact with cleaning supplies.

Individuals must ensure a professional appearance and proper grooming. The associate must present a neat, clean, and appropriately groomed appearance. Specific retailer dress code requirements are included in training documents.
English is the primary language skill; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
