This part-time associate samples products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. Responsibilities include introducing customers to new items through tasting events, sampling, or demonstrations. Customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, or brand ambassador experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and communicate key product points
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards during sampling (cooking, processing, plating, serving)
• Work with the team to meet sales goals

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years old (18+ for alcohol and production roles)
• Availability on weekends (Friday-Sunday) preferred; holidays and weekdays also available
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on work days
• Ability to safely operate appliances (microwave, toaster oven, hot plate)
• Ability to stand for the duration of the event
• No high school or college degree required; training provided

Work Environment

Moderate to high noise levels typical of retail grocery environments, with exposure to cold, refrigerated areas, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
