This part-time associate role involves sampling products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. Product Demonstrators introduce customers to new items and brands through tastings, sampling, or demonstrations. Experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, or brand advocacy is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

1. Engage customers and communicate key product points.
2. Ensure compliance with food safety standards during sample preparation (cooking, processing, plating, serving).
3. Collaborate with the team to meet sales goals for products.

Qualifications

1. Must be at least 16 years old (18+ for alcohol and production roles).
2. Availability on weekends (Friday-Sunday); holidays and weekdays are also available.
3. Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on work days.
4. Ability to safely operate appliances such as microwave, toaster oven, and hot plate.
5. Ability to stand for the duration of the event.
6. Open to applicants without a high school or college degree, with no experience, returning to the workforce, or military experience. Comprehensive online and/or on-the-job training will be provided.

Work Environment

Moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery warehouse. Some exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
