This part-time associate role involves sampling products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. Product Demonstrators introduce customers to new and exciting items and brands through product tasting events, sampling, or demonstrations. Experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, brand ambassadorship, or brand advocacy is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engaging customers to communicate key points about products.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety requirements while preparing samples (cooking, processing, plating, serving).
• Working with the team to achieve sales goals for the products.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old (18+ for alcohol and production roles).
• Availability on weekends (Friday-Sunday) preferred; holidays and weekdays also available.
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on workdays.
• Ability to safely use appliances (microwave, toaster oven, hot plate).
• Ability to stand for the duration of the event.
• Open to applicants without a high school or college degree, with no prior experience, or those returning to the workforce or with military experience. Comprehensive online and/or on-the-job training will be provided.

Work Environment

• Moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery warehouse environment.
• Some exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
