This part-time associate role involves sampling products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. Product Demonstrators introduce customers to new and exciting items and brands through product tasting events, sampling, or demonstrations. Experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, or as a brand ambassador is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

1. Engage with customers to communicate key points about products.
2. Ensure compliance with food safety requirements while preparing samples (cooking, processing, plating, serving).
3. Work with the team to achieve sales goals for the products.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old (18+ for alcohol and production roles).
• Availability on weekends (Friday-Sunday) preferred; holidays and weekdays also available.
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on work days.
• Ability to safely operate appliances such as microwave, toaster oven, hot plate.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the event.
• We welcome applicants without a high school or college degree, those with no experience, individuals returning to the workforce, and military veterans. We provide comprehensive online and/or on-the-job training to help you get started quickly.

Work Environment

Moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery warehouse environment. Some exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
