This part-time associate role involves sampling products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. Product Demonstrators introduce customers to new items and brands through tastings, sampling, or demonstrations. Experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stock management, or brand advocacy is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

1. Engage customers and communicate key points about products.
2. Ensure compliance with food safety standards during sampling (preparing, processing, plating, serving).
3. Collaborate with the team to meet sales goals for the products.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old (18+ for alcohol and production roles).
• Availability on weekends (Friday-Sunday) preferred; holidays and weekdays also available.
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on work days.
• Ability to safely operate appliances such as microwave, toaster oven, hot plate.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the event.
• Open to applicants without a high school or college degree, with no experience, returning to the workforce, or military experience. Comprehensive online and on-the-job training will be provided.

Work Environment

Moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery warehouse. Possible exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
