This part-time role involves sampling products for suppliers within a Sam's Club location. Responsibilities include introducing customers to new items through product tasting events, sampling, or demonstrations. Customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, brand ambassador, or brand advocate experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engaging customers to communicate key points about products.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety requirements during sample preparation.
• Working with the team to achieve sales goals for the products.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age (18+ for alcohol and production roles).
• Availability on weekends (Friday-Sunday); holidays and weekdays also available.
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on work days.
• Ability to safely operate appliances (microwave, toaster oven, hot plate).
• Ability to stand for the duration of the event.
• We welcome applicants without a high school or college degree, with no experience, returning to the workforce, or military experience. Training is provided.

Work Environment

Moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery environment. Possible exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
