Overview

This part-time associate role involves sampling products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. Product Demonstrators introduce customers to new and exciting items and brands through product tasting events, sampling, or demonstrations. Previous experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, or as a brand ambassador is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers to communicate key points about products.
• Ensure compliance with food safety requirements while preparing samples (cooking, processing, plating, serving).
• Work with the team to achieve sales goals for products.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (18+ for alcohol and production roles).
• Availability on weekends (Friday-Sunday) preferred; holidays and weekdays also available.
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on workdays.
• Ability to safely use appliances such as microwave, toaster oven, and hot plate.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the event.
• Open to applicants without a high school or college degree, those with no experience, returning to the workforce, or with military experience. Comprehensive online and/or on-the-job training will be provided.

Work Environment

• Moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery warehouse environment.
• Possible exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
