This part-time associate samples products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. Responsibilities include introducing customers to new products through tastings, sampling, or demonstrations. Customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, brand ambassador, or brand advocate experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and communicate key product points.
• Ensure compliance with food safety requirements during sampling (cooking, processing, plating, serving).
• Work with the team to meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years old (18+ for alcohol and production roles).
• Availability on weekends (Friday-Sunday); holidays and weekdays also available.
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on workdays.
• Ability to safely use appliances such as microwave, toaster oven, hot plate.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the event.
• Open to applicants without a high school or college degree, with no experience, returning to the workforce, or military experience. Training provided.

Work Environment

Moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery environment, with some exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
