This part-time associate position involves sampling products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. Product Demonstrators introduce customers to new and exciting items and brands through product tasting events, sampling, or demonstrations. While experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, demonstration, brand ambassadorship, or brand advocacy is beneficial, it is not required.

Responsibilities

1. Engage customers to communicate key points about products.
2. Ensure compliance with food safety requirements while preparing samples (cooking, processing, plating, serving).
3. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals for the products.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old (18+ for alcohol and production roles).
• Availability on weekends (Friday-Sunday) preferred; holidays and weekdays also available.
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on work days.
• Ability to safely use appliances such as microwave, toaster oven, hot plate.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the event.
• We welcome applicants without a high school or college degree, those with no experience, individuals returning to the workforce, and military veterans. Comprehensive online and/or on-the-job training will be provided to help you start quickly.

Work Environment

Moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery warehouse environment. Some exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
