Job summary

CPI Security in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Product Delivery Manager to lead the full lifecycle of security and automation product launches. You will drive development, testing, go‑to‑market planning, and post‑launch evaluation while coordinating across Product, Marketing, Supply Chain, Sales, IT and Training.

The role demands strong communication, cross‑functional leadership and a track record of successful launches.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project or program management experience in consumer electronics, IoT, or security products.
  • Strong understanding of hardware and software product development cycles.
  • Proven success managing complex cross-functional launches.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with PM tools (Azure, Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, MS Project).
  • PMP certification.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Project Management: Drive full lifecycle of product launches, including development, testing, release strategy, launch, and post-launch evaluation.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise between Product, Marketing, Supply Chain, Sales, Operations, IT, Training, HR, Customer Operations, Accounting, and partners to ensure alignment and timely execution.
  • Scheduling & Execution: Build and maintain detailed launch plans, milestone schedules, and readiness trackers.
  • Launch Readiness: Oversee go-to-market prep including installation documentation, logistics, sales processes, marketing and customer training materials.
  • PostLaunchMetrics & Feedback: Monitor performance and support trends, drive feedback loops with teams and customers.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify risks early, develop mitigation strategies, elevate issues proactively.
  • Communication & Reporting: Deliver concise status updates and executive summaries; act as single source of truth for product readiness.
  • Process Improvement: Refine processes for faster, more reliable product launches.

What You'll Do:
  • End-to-End Project Management: Drive the full lifecycle of product launches, including development, testing,release strategy,launch, and post-launch evaluation.

  • Scheduling & Execution: Build andmaintaindetailed launch plans, milestone schedules, and readiness trackers. Manage dependencies and critical paths.
  • Launch Readiness: Oversee all go-to-market preparationincludinginstallation documentation,logistics,sales process,marketingand customer training materials.
  • PostLaunchMetrics & Feedback Management: Monitor postlaunch performance and support trends, leading feedback loops with teams and customers to drive continuous improvement.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identifypotential risks and blockers early, develop mitigation strategies, and elevate issues proactively.
  • Communication & Reporting: Deliver clear, concise status updates and executive summaries. Serve as thesingle sourceof truth for product readiness.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously refine processes for faster, more reliable, and cost-effective product launches.

What We're Looking For :
Required:
  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management, ideally within consumer electronics, IoT, orcommercial and residentialsecurity products.
  • Strong understanding of both hardware and software product development cycles.
  • Proven success managing complex, cross-functional projects through launch.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiencywith project management tools (e.g.,Azure,Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, MS Project).
  • PMP certification.
Preferred:
  • Experience working with connected devices (IoT), cloud-based platforms, or mobile app integrations.
  • Familiarity withresidential and commercialsecurity technologies (e.g., cameras, sensors, access control, alarms).
