Northeast Traffic is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver / Shop & Yard Laborer to support delivering highway safety equipment, assisting with warehouse and shop operations, and performing general yard duties across New England. No prior traffic control experience is required; attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are valued.

Responsibilities include delivering equipment to job sites, organizing and maintaining shop and yard areas, loading and unloading trucks, and working with a team

Qualifications

• MA drivers license required and clean driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
• Ability to lift and move a minimum of 30 pounds.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Delivery & Transportation: Safely deliver highway safety equipment, traffic control devices, and materials to assigned job sites throughout New England.
• Load, unload, organize, and secure equipment and materials for transportation.
• Navigate various routes and locations throughout Massachusetts and surrounding New England states.
• Ensure deliveries and pickups are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with customers, job site personnel, and coworkers.
• Follow all company driving policies and applicable traffic laws.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of assigned vehicles.
• Assist with equipment pickups and returns from active job sites.

Northeast Traffic is looking for a dependable, motivated, and hardworking individual to join our growing team as a Delivery Driver / Shop & Yard Laborer.

As part of a busy traffic control and highway construction company, this position plays an important role in keeping daily operations running smoothly. Responsibilities include delivering highway safety equipment to various job sites throughout New England, assisting with warehouse and shop operations, and performing general yard duties.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong sense of responsibility, and enjoys working in a team-oriented environment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get started in the traffic control and highway construction industry.

No previous traffic control experience is required. We are looking for the right attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Delivery & Transportation

• Safely deliver highway safety equipment, traffic control devices, and materials to assigned job sites throughout New England.
• Load, unload, organize, and secure equipment and materials for transportation.
• Navigate various routes and locations throughout Massachusetts and surrounding New England states.
• Ensure deliveries and pickups are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with customers, job site personnel, and coworkers.
• Follow all company driving policies and applicable traffic laws.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of assigned vehicles.
• Assist with equipment pickups and returns from active job sites.

Shop & Warehouse Operations

• Assist with organizing, maintaining, and preparing traffic control equipment and materials.
• Inspect, clean, and organize returned signs, cones, barrels, barricades, and other safety products.
• Help prepare equipment and materials for upcoming projects and deliveries.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe shop and warehouse environment.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and trailers.

Yard & General Labor

• Perform general yard maintenance and labor duties as needed.
• Move, stack, and organize equipment and materials.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and preparation.
• Support daily operations and help keep the yard and work areas clean and organized.
• Work alongside other team members to complete daily assignments efficiently.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid Massachusetts driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate company vehicles and navigate throughout New England.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
• Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed.
• Ability to lift and move a minimum of 30 pounds.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous delivery driving, warehouse, construction, or traffic control experience is a plus, but not required.
