Job summary

MillerKnoll is seeking a Product Data Technician-1 (Finance) to structure and maintain master data across the product lifecycle, interpreting ECNs/ECOs, BOMs, and routings. Collaborate with engineering, marketing, purchasing, manufacturing and logistics to implement changes.

Ideal candidates have a degree or 1–3 years’ experience, strong analytical skills, Excel proficiency, and the ability to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business/IT/Math or related field preferred or 1-3 years related work experience.
• Minimum one year of experience in an office environment.
• Office furniture or product data experience preferred.
• Analytical and mathematical aptitude.
• Problem solving and innovative thinking skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
• Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Methodical approach to work, attention to detail, solution oriented.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings.
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes used in consumer product applications.
• Strong oral and written communication skills to facilitate interactions with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
• Customer service, accounting, manufacturing, or engineering experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned Product lines. Review drawing and ECN/ECO to determine changes required.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues to ensure order process issues are resolved.
• Communicate proactively to clarify issues with master data requirements.
• Communicate proposed solutions and make modifications as required based on feedback.
• Work with Procurement and Planning to create purchased parts as specified in ECN/ECO.
• Work with Operations to create and input manufacturing and procurement routings and bills of material.
• Act as an integral member of the Product Data team.
• Fluidly manages multiple concurrent assignments.
• Initiate timely communication of Product Line progress and challenges.
• Actively participates in team meetings.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
