LOCATION: 4 days onsite in Duluth or Atlanta, GA
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 1 year with opportunity to convert to FTE
This Product Manager will help build and evolve the next generation of product catalog and product data platforms. This is a data-focused Product Management role, centered on Product Information Management (PIM), Product Data, Data Governance, Master Data Management (MDM), and product onboarding.
Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain the product roadmap for assigned Product & Catalog capabilities.
- Partner with business and product leadership to evaluate and prioritize opportunities.
- Translate business strategy into product and technology strategy in partnership with engineering.
- Define product vision, value propositions, OKRs, success metrics, and measurable outcomes.
- Identify dependencies and opportunities across the broader product data ecosystem.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technology.
- Provide thought leadership and translate product vision into actionable plans.
Product Data, PIM & Governance
- Lead products and capabilities related to Product Data, Data Governance, Master Data Management, and PIM.
- Help define how product information is structured, managed, governed, onboarded, and distributed across enterprise systems.
- Partner with engineering and data teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Develop a deep understanding of product data processes and business workflows.
- Drive improvements to data quality, governance, onboarding, and distribution processes.
- Help define strategies and roadmaps for exposing product, vehicle, location, and catalog services through APIs and data feeds.
- Support solutions using PIM/MDM platforms such as STIBO STEP or similar technologies.
Execution & Delivery
- Drive prioritization of product capabilities based on business value, customer needs, and strategic objectives.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog.
- Define and document requirements through epics, features, and user stories.
- Partner with UX, engineering, business stakeholders, and agile practitioners throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Track releases and communicate delivery progress and roadmap updates.
- Plan and facilitate user showcases, acceptance testing, and product demonstrations.
- Use data and analytics to measure product performance and inform prioritization decisions.
- Continuously improve product management and product delivery practices.
Stakeholder Management
- Represent the Product & Catalog domain during enterprise planning and discovery.
- Manage stakeholder expectations around scope, priorities, backlog, and delivery.
- Communicate product vision, strategy, roadmap, and progress across all levels of the organization.
- Coordinate cross-domain prioritization and sequencing.
- Build strong partnerships across Business, UX, Engineering, Data, and Technology teams.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management and/or Experience Management.
- 5+ years working in Scrum/Agile development environments.
- 5+ years of experience with product backlog prioritization and refinement.
- 5+ years of product ownership experience, including roadmap development, planning, and delivery.
- 3+ years of experience designing Product Information Management (PIM), Master Data Management (MDM), catalog data management, or data distribution solutions.
- Experience with PIM/MDM platforms such as STIBO STEP or similar technologies.
- Strong understanding of product data structures, data governance, data management, and data flows.
- Ability to understand data concepts such as tables, relationships, joins, and SQL at a level that enables effective partnership with engineering and data teams.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to use data to break down complex problems and develop actionable plans.
- Proven ability to define goals, KPIs, analytics, and success metrics to measure product value.
- Proficiency creating, prioritizing, and accepting user stories.
- Experience conducting user research and testing to understand customer and business needs.
- Experience conducting competitive research and analysis.
- Experience coaching or mentoring more junior Product Managers/Product Owners is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Experience in the automotive aftermarket industry.
- Experience with automotive aftermarket catalog standards such as ACES and PIES.
- Experience working with automotive product catalogs, vehicle fitment, or product data.
- Experience in B2B and/or retail environments.
- Experience with product data onboarding, catalog publishing, or product distribution.
- Experience working with APIs, feeds, or other methods of distributing catalog and product data.
- Experience supporting, mentoring, or managing Product Owners.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $65. to $78.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
