Job summary

Univar Solutions seeks a Product Data Specialist to build and maintain a high-quality product data foundation for the Ingredients + Specialties division. You will collect documentation from suppliers, load metadata into the PIM system, and validate data integrity for the Product Intelligence platform.

The role emphasizes data governance, collaboration with internal teams, and ongoing documentation updates to ensure data freshness across regions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
1–3 years of experience in a chemical field.
Strong data accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience with SDS and TDS documents preferred.
Experience with data entry and validation.

Responsibilities

Gather product data and documentation from external suppliers, managing outreach and follow-up.
Load product documents and data into the PIM system.
Validate product data after processing to ensure readiness for the Product Intelligence tool.
Maintain product documentation for ongoing freshness and accuracy.
Support product data governance initiatives and data standards.
Coordinate data collection from cross-functional stakeholders.
Identify data quality gaps and coordinate resolutions.
Assist rollout and training of the Product Intelligence tool across regions.
