Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking a Formulation & Technical Data Specialist to gather, validate, and maintain formulation data and technical documentation powering Formulation Intelligence. You will curate records, ensure data accuracy, and collaborate with supplier contacts and internal stakeholders to reflect the latest guidance across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or closely related science.
• 2–4 years in chemistry or chemical industry with exposure to formulation science.
• Deep knowledge of chemical formulations and how components influence performance.
• Ability to read and evaluate SDS, TDS, and processing guides.
• Strong attention to data accuracy, completeness and integrity.
• Effective communication with supplier contacts and internal stakeholders.
• Hands-on lab or applied formulation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather formulation data and documentation from suppliers and internal sources.
• Catalog internal (Univar) formulations with complete records of components and methods.
• Load data for the Formulation Intelligence module per data standards.
• Validate data after processing, ensuring accuracy of components and parameters.
• Maintain and refresh formulation records to reflect latest guidance.
• Monitor product authorizations affecting internal/external data and update accordingly.
• Support data governance by enforcing standards and quality policies.
• Collaborate with commercial, technical sales, and R&D teams to verify data.
• Validate content quality within the Formulation Intelligence module and coordinate fixes.
• Assist rollout and training of the module across regions as content expands.
