Job summary

FMG Global is seeking a Product and Data Analyst to connect quality and supply chain needs with technology delivery by leading requirements and process analysis, while profiling transaction-level protein raw material quality data to support data product execution.

You will elicit requirements from quality, supply chain, supplier management, and analytics stakeholders, maintain the backlog with the Data Product Director, and map current processes to future workflows with a focus on data

Qualifications

• 6–8 years in business analysis, data analysis, and product ownership.
• Experience eliciting requirements, mapping processes, and writing data/story requirements.
• Strong SQL, advanced Excel, data profiling and reconciliation of large datasets.
• Preference for supply chain, agrifoods, food manufacturing, or protein processing.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document requirements from stakeholders; write user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Own/backlog grooming with Data Product Director for the quality data domain; define ready/done.
• Map current-state to-be processes; emphasize event and data-submission workflows.
• Analyze quality data end-to-end across receipts, inspections, NCRs, and stats.
• Standardize quality metrics and reporting across suppliers, items, markets.
• Validate and stress-test the Supplier Risk Score and calculations.
• Profile data quality KPIs; flag integrity risks like fan-out/double-counting.
• Contribute to data dictionary, data models, and governance objects.
• Collaborate with analytics to define semantic metrics and validate dashboards.
