Data Analyst

Client Online is seeking a Product Analyst with a passion for data and solutions. The primary role will be to serve as the data partner for agile teams, supporting the transformation from project-based to team-based funding aligned with Digital Experience's key strategic initiatives. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the use of budget data to inform decisions by analyzing and interpreting data to uncover valuable insights. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager of Online DTX Global Enablement, collaboration across multiple brands and markets globally is essential.

The ideal candidate possesses strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, is self-driven, detail-oriented yet clear and concise, and focused on consistency and standardization while embracing change in an iterative, evolving organization. This role involves monitoring data and recommending waste reduction strategies to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities
  1. Support the Global Enablement team with daily activities, including:
  2. Analyze and develop innovative, insightful budget reports to influence stakeholders and guide investment decisions.
  3. Conduct analyses on various requests, applying reporting and visualization expertise to solve business problems and optimize operations.
  4. Lead monthly budget planning meetings with teams, conduct internal standups with Budget Data Analysts, and weekly meetings with the Finance Team, ensuring agendas and action items are clear.
  5. Maintain data accuracy and integrity by cleaning data and resolving issues to produce relevant business insights.
  6. Create and identify metrics from multiple sources to highlight patterns, trends, and opportunities.
  7. Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to facilitate ad hoc analysis and support data-driven decision-making.
  8. Build and promote adoption of business metrics; develop data pipelines to report key operational metrics regularly, improving estimation accuracy.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  10. Manage budget allocations, communicating actively with senior stakeholders regarding requests and initiatives.
  11. Analyze the Long Range Planning process, develop financial and forecast plans supporting business strategies, and collaborate with teams to ensure investments are reflected in global brand financial plans.
  12. Handle confidential and non-routine information appropriately.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) or equivalent practical experience.
  2. 5+ years of experience as an analyst or in a similar role, preferably in a product-focused environment.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  4. Experience in budget analysis, scenario planning, forecast modeling, and strategic decision-making.
  5. Experience working with large datasets, conducting statistical analysis, and manipulating data for insights.
  6. Experience designing and leading the adoption of business metrics (e.g., tracking and reporting to stakeholders).
  7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive continuous improvement.
  8. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including macro proficiency.
  9. Experience with low/no code solutions such as Appsheet, Microsoft PowerApps, Airtable.
  10. Familiarity with data visualization tools like Google Looker, Power BI, Tableau for creating compelling visualizations and reports.
  11. Knowledge of Lean Agile Budgeting and OKRs.
