Job summary

Linium Resources is seeking a Product Controller in New York to support all front office activities. Responsibilities include preparing profit and loss reports, responding to front office queries, and month-end activities related to reconciliation and reporting.

The ideal candidate should have over 3 years of relevant experience in product control or accounting, possess a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting, and have strong knowledge of US market practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Product Control and/or Accounting experience with relevant industry exposure.
• Strong knowledge of US market industry practices, P/L calculation and attribution.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office/Suite (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

Major Investment Bank is looking for a Product Controller to support all front office activities in NY.

• Preparation and analysis of daily profit and loss reports
• Responding to Front Office queries
• Month-end activities including posting month end journals, reconciliation of the balance sheet and P&L accounts
• Month-End Management Reporting
• Month End and Intra-Month Price Verification
• Completion of ad-hoc requests from Front Office, Regulatory, other Finance areas, and Tax
• Ensuring and maintaining a strong control environment
• Participating in projects that improve controls, processes and system enhancements
• Assist with regulatory filings

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Product Control and/or Accounting experience with relevant industry exposure
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• Strong knowledge of US market industry practices, P/L calculation and attribution, valuation methodologies
• Proficient with Microsoft Office/Suite (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Strong analytical, communication and management skill
