Springs Window Fashions and Affiliated Companies is seeking a Product Configuration Business Analyst (Modeler) to translate customer design choices into configurable window coverings. You will work across product management, engineering, IT, and operations to configure, document, and maintain product rules that drive ordering accuracy, pricing, and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
• Ability to interpret product specifications, BOM structures, and engineering requirements.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage complex rule sets.
• Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with structured data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain product configuration models using internal tools (e.g., Magic Tool, Frontier/FRN platforms, PCM workbench).
• Translate business and engineering requirements into rules, validations, option logic, segment structures, and dynamic behavior.
• Configure model options, families, select tables, matrices, color lists, and dependent attributes for new and existing products.
• Maintain dynamic SKU or single-SKU logic depending on product strategy.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and internal customers to document requirements and ensure accurate model behavior.
• Support manufacturing, purchasing, and customer service by ensuring configuration outputs match operational needs and production flows.
• Participate in product introduction planning and model setup for new launches (e.g., Roman shades, awnings, power shades).
• Conduct testing to ensure correct rule execution, error handling, and compatibility logic.
• Troubleshoot issues in production ordering or manufacturing systems related to configuration defects.
• Validate configuration lists, matrices, retrieval tables, BOM-related logic, and display behavior for end-users.
• Create and maintain documentation for configuration rules, logic flows, product behavior, and change logs.
