Job description

Product Configuration Coordinator

Location: Graham, KY (relocation assistance not provided). Reports to the Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain engineering parts, including bills of material.
• Interpret customer TDPs/Build to Print.
• Assist in creating/maintaining LDs.
• Create sales parts and cross‑references to customer PNs to support contracts and business administration.
• Inventory part creation, including customer furnished property.
• Create purchase part/supplier for purchase part for CFP.
• Catalog entry and maintenance for shipping information.
• Create and maintain product structures (based on input from PEs).
• Create and maintain product routings (based on input from PEs).
• Resolve part designation configuration issues.
• Communicate verbally and in writing at all levels of the organization.
• Assign and manage part numbers for new and existing products.
• Maintain and update approved manufacturing updates to ensure compliance with company and customer standards and requirements.
• Aware of unit of measure (U/M) and its impact on a bill of material.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Post‑high school education is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of configuration management practices.
• Basic knowledge of GD&T.
• Ability to read, interpret drawings and understand parts lists.
• Populate product structures in IFS (ERP system) including part transfers.
• Ability to meet commitments, juggle priorities, and remain organized.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Team‑oriented and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
