Job summary

BinMaster Sensors & Technologies in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Product Compliance Engineer to own certification and compliance activities. You will interpret UL, CSA, FM, NEC, IEC and ATEX standards and coordinate tests with engineering, manufacturing and QA.

You will organize compliance records by product type, manage ROHS/REACH/IMDS programs, and support ISO 9001 audits. This role emphasizes meticulous attention to detail and on-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting UL, CSA, FM, NEC, IEC and ATEX standards.
• Experience with hazardous locations concepts.
• BSEE, MSEE, or equivalent experience.
• Strong organizational skills.
• ISO 9001 experience.

Responsibilities

• Interpret regulatory codes and standards for products (UL, CSA, FM, NEC, IEC, ATEX).
• Drive product compliance through evaluation and testing with Engineering, Manufacturing and QA.
• Organize and maintain compliance records by product types from testing and reports.
• Prepare estimates, timetables, and resource plans for compliance activities including labs and equipment.
• Assist in ROHS, REACH, IMDS and substances of concern programs.
• Maintain standards lists and track changes to regulations.
• Audit support with Quality Manager or Consultants and maintain controlled ISO documents.
