Job description

At Swiss Madison, we are Elevating the Standard of Home Living. From bathroom fixtures to the broader home, our vision is to become a household name by delivering elevated design, guaranteed quality, and affordability. With bold growth ambitions and a clear vision for the future, we’re assembling a team of driven, high-impact leaders who are passionate about building something lasting—transforming our brand into a household name and setting a new standard for home living.

We operate based off of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) to bring structure, focus, and accountability to our entire organization. EOS provides us with a shared language, a common set of tools, and a results-driven cadence that empowers leaders to take ownership and execute with clarity. This hire will be expected to thrive within this framework, bringing strong capabilities and a commitment to living our core values: Ownership, Growth Mindset, Agility, Resourcefulness, and Clarity.

About the Role

Swiss Madison is looking for a Product Category Manager to take ownership of a dedicated slice of our product portfolio: Bathroom Vanities, Hardware, Faucets, Accessories, Medicine Cabinets, and Mirrors. Today, one person manages all categories company-wide—this hire is part of our investment in giving each category the focused strategic attention it deserves. You'll own the full lifecycle of your categories: what we sell, why we sell it, and how it gets sourced and delivered. You'll be supported by a US-based sourcer for pipeline execution and supplier relationship management, plus international offices that handle day-to-day, in-market sourcing needs - but you are the one accountable for the pipeline getting done.

Responsibilities
  • Assortment strategy: Define and evolve the product lineup across your categories: new product development, line/collection expansions, and sunsetting underperformers.
  • Sourcing execution: Drive your sourcing pipeline end-to-end, leveraging your US-based sourcer and international office partners, while remaining ultimately accountable for outcomes and timelines.
  • Go-to-market briefs: Translate product decisions into clear briefs for Merchandising, Creative, and Marketing so every team understands what the product is, its key features, and its value to the customer.
  • Category performance: Monitor sales, margin, and lifecycle data for your categories to inform expansion and sunset decisions.
  • Cross-functional partnership: Work closely with Merchandising, Creative, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure product decisions translate into successful launches.
Required Skills
  • Experience owning product assortment and/or sourcing for a category within home goods, durable goods, or adjacent industries (furniture, hardware, decor, appliances, or similar) - direct plumbing/bath-kitchen experience is a plus, not a requirement.
  • A track record of making data-informed assortment calls: knowing when to expand a line, when to sunset a SKU, and why.
  • Comfort managing supplier relationships and sourcing pipelines through a distributed team (US-based sourcer + international offices), even without direct day-to-day control over every touchpoint.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills - you'll need to make the "why" behind product decisions land with non-sourcing teams.
  • Comfort with occasional international travel (1-2x/year) to key supplier markets.
  • Strong technical understanding of bath and kitchen fixtures, including materials, mechanical systems, and finishes, with an ability to evaluate product functional performance and durability.
