Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program with graduation expected between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.
  • Pursuing business, technology, data analytics, CS, engineering, operations, risk management, or related field.
  • Interest in product management, technology, operations, analytics, or AI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to organize information and draw practical conclusions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not offered.
  • Preferred: coursework or projects in data, AI, automation, agile methods, or digital products.
  • Preferred: experience with Tableau, Power BI, ServiceNow, Archer, or similar platforms.
  • Preferred: ability to connect project work to broader business outcomes and adapt to feedback.
  • Preferred: interest in responsible innovation and AI governance.
  • Preferred: teamwork, integrity, and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support cross-functional teams on product management and process improvement initiatives.
  • Gather and document business requirements, user needs, process flows, and project updates; translate them into technical requirements.
  • Contribute to product and capability roadmaps, implementation activities, adoption efforts, and performance measurement.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports, presentations, dashboards, and insights for project teams and leaders.
  • Identify and assess GenAI, intelligent automation, and advanced analytics opportunities to improve workflows and colleague experience.
  • Support the design, testing, and rollout of secure, scalable solutions with Technology and Business Teams.
  • Participate in process‑improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, quality, risk, and controls.
  • Build relationships across a complex, matrixed organization and contribute questions, ideas, and fresh perspective.

Job description

Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a full‑time bachelor's degree program, with anticipated graduation between December 2027 and June 2028
  • Pursuing business, technology, data analytics, computer science, engineering, operations, risk management, or a related degree
  • Demonstrated interest in product management, technology, operations, process improvement, analytics, or artificial intelligence
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with ability to organize information and draw practical conclusions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high‑quality work with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States required; American Express will not pursue visa sponsorship
  • Preferred: coursework, projects, or activities involving data, AI, automation, agile methods, or digital products
  • Preferred: experience with Tableau, Power BI, ServiceNow, Archer, or similar platforms
  • Preferred: ability to connect project work to broader business outcomes and adapt quickly to feedback
