Job summary

Stratacuity: Proven Scientific Placement is seeking a detail-oriented Production Associate in Alpharetta, GA. You will participate in assembling components, inspecting units, and maintaining quality across all tasks.

Job description

Under supervisory direction, you will function as a member of a production team whose goal is to assemble required components, operate equipment, inspect in-process devices and maintain the quality and integrity of the products at all times.

Responsibilities:
  • Build Quality into all aspects of their work by remaining compliant.
  • Follow and adhere to company policy and procedures.
  • Perform multiple operations such as assembly, inspection of in-process units and assemblies; material documentation, handling, and control.
  • Become trained on production tasks and maintain up-to-date individual training records.
  • Demonstrate and apply a solid understanding of how to use measuring instruments.
  • Computer proficiency to complete confirmations, issue materials, and print labels.
  • Understand and apply Core 5 Metrics for daily tasks.
  • Participate in program/functional team projects developing process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures to optimize quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or quality (production, packaging, labeling incoming and shipping, critical systems, etc.) preferred.
  • Track record of mastery of all skills associated with Product Builder 1 role for 1+ years OR prior medical device related experience.
  • Show good knowledge of component identification and documentation requirements.
  • Must have good working knowledge of MP's and WIs in their training plans.
  • Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours and to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities. Overtime is required in this position.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit and walk. Requires manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to use microscope and other hand-held tools as required. Requires use of fingers or hands to manipulate/assemble moderately to small size tools or objects.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to work safely and effectively when exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles or toxic or caustic chemicals.
  • Tolerance of noise level in a work environment where the noise is usually moderate.
  • Willingness to properly use protective clothing and safety equipment such as safety glasses and respirators, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
