Cook Group in Winston-Salem, NC seeks an individual to guide production personnel in the fabrication, assembly, packaging and inspection of medical devices. The role emphasizes coaching leaders, ensuring quality system compliance, and clear communication of expectations across the team.
Requirements include at least 1 year in-house medical device production, ability to read English documentation and use measuring gauges, and strong organizational skills.
The primary purpose of this position is guide production personnel in the fabrication, assembly, packaging and/or inspection of medical devices.
- Employee engagement- Coach and develop leaders- Ensure compliance to quality system policies and departmentprocedures.- Communicate expectations, assignments, and responsibilities clearly and professionally to leaders.- Gather departmental data for departmental boards.- Perform other duties and special projects as necessary. Accurately and efficiently document employee Time and Attendance, Merit / Performance reviews, Quality, Workmanship and Disciplinary issues, and monthly efficiencies.- Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization- Must strictly adhere to safety requirements- Maintain regular and punctual attendance- Must maintain company quality and quantity standards- Must have effective oral and written communication skills- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision - Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
- Minimum 1 year in house experience in medical device production.- Ability to read/write/understand product documentation and specification drawings written in English.- Ability to use small measuring devices and gauges.- Basic computer entry/retrieval skills.- Good organizational skills.
