Job summary

AscendArc is seeking a Product Assurance Manager to serve as the mission assurance technical authority for the program, owning the PA plan, qualification review, and supplier PA flow-down.

You will drive reliability, EEE parts control, DPA, and safety hazard analyses while coordinating with engineering, suppliers, and the customer’s assurance organization to ensure the spacecraft is built and qualified to standard.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product/mission assurance for space or high-reliability hardware and a B.S. in an engineering or physical-science discipline.
• Demonstrated ownership of a PA program, including PA planning, qualification, and supplier PA flow-down
• Working knowledge of reliability engineering (FMECA), EEE parts control, derating, and DPA
• Familiarity with safety hazard analysis for hazardous/pressure systems, ordnance, and batteries
• Independent, rigorous, and able to hold a qualification standard while working constructively with engineering and suppliers

Responsibilities

• Own PA program end to end: PA plan, qualification review process, and supplier PA flow-down.
• Drive reliability, EEE parts control, derating, and DPA.
• Contribute safety hazard analyses feeding launcher safety submission.
• Collaborate with engineering, suppliers, and customer assurance to ensure spacecraft is built and qualified to standard.
