Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Conyers, GA is seeking a Product Application Specialist to help grow our refrigerated systems business by designing end-to-end refrigeration solutions and coordinating with customers, sales reps, and engineers.

You will gather requirements, generate proposals, perform load calculations, and ensure orders are entered accurately while maintaining strong customer service and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years in HVAC/R field (technician or product application).
• Diploma from accredited HVAC/R institution with 2 years HVAC/R experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Liaise with engineers, customers, vendors and outside sales to determine requirements.
• Generate customer legend sheets / specifications.
• Calculate refrigeration load requirements and parameters.
• Construct end-to-end proposals for products including racks, gas coolers, compressors, condensers, evaporators and controls.
• Advise customers on store installations or full-store remodels.
• Utilize proprietary software to turn around proposals within service levels.
• Ensure information is complete for downstream processing and enter orders promptly.

The ideal candidate for this role can not only configure our refrigeration system products to meet the application needs of the Customer, but can also manage multiple projects concurrently.
