Job summary

Aircall is a unicorn AI-powered customer communications platform hiring a Data Scientist to deliver insights for product and business teams. You will work closely with Product, Software Engineering, and Data Engineering to translate data needs into powerful solutions that inform feature launches, pricing, and experiments.

You will shape the analytics roadmap, lead rigorous experiments, and help improve the data stack and governance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on technical experience in a high growth environment.
• Proficiency in SQL for deriving insights.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to explain complex data clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong visualization skills to build stories and insights from raw data in a clear and concise manner (Hex and Looker).
• Experience in building rigorous experiments (hypothesis testing, power/significance testing).
• Familiarity with data pipeline/orchestration tools (dbt, Airflow).
• Experience collaborating with data engineering to build and maintain healthy pipelines, with experience with lakehouse table formats (Apache Iceberg) and distributed data processing (PySpark) as a plus.
• Insatiable curiosity and bias toward action.
• Excited to work from our new office in SOMA in San Francisco, 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product and business leaders to define the analytics roadmap and deliver key projects in product adoption, feature usage, cohort analysis, agent evaluations, and more.
• Identify key opportunities based off of product usage to inform the product roadmap and customer health.
• Contribute to and lead Aircall’s experimentation culture by ideating, creating, and evaluating experiments, both to improve product performance and adoption.
• Provide actionable insights and compelling narratives to influence major decisions.
• Work closely with data engineers to continuously improve the data stack, governance practices, and analysis quality.
