  • Evaluate and balance customer requests with system capabilities and long-term product strategy.
  • Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges, and objectives.
  • Analyze user interactions to identify inefficiencies, friction points, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ask insightful, probing questions to uncover root causes and edge cases beyond initial requests.
  • Develop functional designs that connect product vision with scalable technical solutions.
  • Document workflows, edge cases, and expected system behaviors with clarity and precision.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and process diagrams to support solution design.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure requirements are complete, accurate, and actionable.
  • Break down complex features into manageable user stories or work items.
  • Provide ongoing clarification and support to developers throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Validate that delivered solutions meet intended functionality and deliver a strong user experience.
  • Work with QA to establish clear acceptance criteria and comprehensive test scenarios.
  • Gather user and stakeholder feedback to continuously refine and improve solutions.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Client is seeking a Business/Product Analyst who can serve as the critical link between customer needs and software development. This role focuses on deeply understanding user workflows within HR, payroll, and benefits systems, identifying opportunities for product enhancement, and translating insights into clear, actionable requirements that align with product strategy.
