WTWO in Terre Haute is seeking a Producer/Reporter for the daily, half-hour lifestyle program Good Day Live. You will book guests, develop segment content, and gather visuals to craft engaging daily shows that highlight local businesses and community organizations.

You’ll build rundowns, coordinate with production staff, and contribute to on-air writing while also supporting online and social media efforts to grow audience engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in film/television.
• Producing experience including familiarity with iNews or other newsroom systems.
• Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects efficiently.
• Energetic, positive and team-oriented attitude.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and with a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

WTWO is looking for a Producer/Reporter for a daily, half-hour lifestyle program called Good Day Live . The program showcases local businesses and community organizations in a way that highlights their contributions to our community.

Daily duties

• Booking and scheduling clients and other guests
• Working with clients and guests to develop segment content
• Gathering visual elements for each segment (video, pictures, etc)
• Building daily show rundowns, stacking segments for audience flow, timing the show
• Visualizing the production of each segment and communicating it to production staff
• Preparing and integrating appropriate visual elements
• Contributing to the writing of segments
• Organizing and archiving show assets
• Other duties as assigned

Other responsibilities include

• Working with Host and other team members to generate creative content and build/reinforce show branding
• Working with Director and production crew to identify and address quality and efficiency issues
• Contributing to the online and social media aspects of the show
