Job summary

TEGNA Inc. is seeking a dynamic producer for WCNC Charlotte's Charlotte Today to lead content development and production. The role oversees all aspects of the daily show, shapes storytelling, and coordinates on-air and sponsored segments with a focus on local stories and audience engagement.

The producer will collaborate with the Charlotte Today Team, manage the production calendar, and adapt workflows to evolving multi-platform distribution while maintaining deadlines and broadcast quality.

• Proven track record in television production, preferably for a magazine-style or news program.

WCNC Charlotte is seeking a dynamic and visionary producer to lead our Charlotte Today lifestyle program into its next era of success. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of one of Charlotte’s local entertainment shows.
The producer will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Charlotte Today, including content development and production. The ideal candidate will bring fresh ideas to evolve the show while maintaining its core focus on local stories and paid content.

• Knowledge of AP ENPS, Edius, photojournalism, video editing, and content management systems.
