Job summary

You’ll oversee live broadcasts, edit stories, and publish content across station platforms, contributing to special projects and newsroom operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Two or more years of experience in a newsroom, content production, or related field preferred.
• Understanding of journalistic standards, ethics, and applicable media laws preferred.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Two or more years of experience in a newsroom, content production, or related field preferred.
• Understanding of journalistic standards, ethics, and applicable media laws preferred.

• Working knowledge of journalistic ethics, libel laws, and newsroom best practices.
• Experience using web analytics and digital audience insights to inform content decisions.
• Proficiency with newsroom computer systems; experience with Microsoft Office is a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and other hours as news coverage demands.
