KMGH, The E.W. Scripps Company ABC affiliate in Denver, Colorado, seeks an Executive Reporter to lead storytelling and mentor reporters and MMJs to their full potential.

You will oversee multi-platform coverage, collaborate with newsroom leaders, ensure ethical standards, and shape content strategy while delivering timely feedback and newsroom vision.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in related discipline preferred, or equivalent years of experience.
• Generally, 7+ years of experience in a related field preferred.

• Collaborate with other newsroom leaders to consistently execute the content strategy through authentic, meaningful storytelling.

• Ensure that all content adheres to journalistic standards and ethical guidelines.
• Deliver a vision and create trust among reporters, photographers and newsroom staff.
• May provide on-air, multi-platform coverage for breaking news as needed.

KMGH, The E.W. Scripps Company ABC affiliate in Denver, Colorado, is seeking an Executive Reporter who will lead our mission to enhance storytelling and inspire the next generation of journalists. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the narrative of our community while mentoring talented reporters and MMJs to reach their full potential.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead, develop, and enhance the storytelling skill and abilities of all reporters and MMJs in the station.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

COMPENSATION RANGE

Annual Salary: $110,400.00 - 117,500
